Movie Mania Season

The month of May and June's really going to be infested with great movies but, I've yet to watch any of those in cinema. And not to forget...there's going to be FIFA World Cup too heehee! But I'm obviously looking forward to the remake of The Omen's "Antichrist" movie.

The last time I watched it was when I was with my darling and the rest of his friends...and all of us overnight at Kathi's house. We had the Omen trilogy night. And most of us ended up dozing off halfway when we came to the 3rd part.

Throughout my growing up days, I could only recall once where they showed "Antichrist" on television. Only ONCE. Maybe twice, maybe thrice. Maybe they've shown it even before I was born. Haha, if I'm not wrong, used to be under SBC that time I assume. And that channel always featured all the best classic horror movies at night. And can you watch that now on Mediacorp channel? Heehee...just a few.

However I'm not sure if the remake of this movie is going to be worth watching.

You remember how they made Exorcist: The Beginning and Amytiville House?

The Exorcist: The Beginning has a good start which was...eerie and mystifying. But the ending was quite bland.

*Whoever got possessed, that ugly facial expression has to follow that of Exorcist.*

At least the possessed beauty from The Exorcism of Emily Rose doesn't follow suit.

Amityville House was good too. There's a few alteration here and there. Didn't look exactly like what people had seen from the original version. Maybe the movie wants us to explore deep into the history of the house and what happens around it. It's not bad but the popularity of the movie faded off from viewers mind very fast, because, to them, there are other great movies to look forward to.

So yeah...to have a remake of an old horror-cult movie really needs a lot of careful planning strategies and hard work in order to pull in many viewers to enjoy that. Sometimes, viewers always prefer classic stuff than new ; )

6th June 2006 (666) will be its release date so yeah, I'm not surprise at that but I'm sure the metalheads, the "metalheads", the troo black metallers, the "black metallers", the Goths, the "Goths" etc etc would surely be waiting forward for it.

And yeah, it is just a movie so I hope no Christians get intimidated by it.

Before I end it all here...

I would like to wish...

Happy Vesak Day...

Happy 28th Birthday Sis...

and Happy Mothers' Day to all the mummies out there!

Where There's Music, There's Fun

Hello there, sorry for the late update. I'm supposed to update on Hellfire Club 2006, but by the time I want to do that now, I've forgotten on mostly what had happened that day.

I'm clueless myself on why I decided to turn up for the gig. It's between wanting to enjoy the music from the bands and meeting friends. I got both and yeah, it's a total fun. A killer mixed gig except for the existence of a few fights and disagreements.

I love those music from the performing bands that day...heavy and some...patriotic. I'm always lost when it comes to band names but I should just give the credits to all of them for making Hellfire Club 2006 a happening gig. I've not been attending mixed gig that often so, this should be the first for the year 2006.

Like Hellfire Club 2005, I attended it after going M.I.A for quite a long time. That time, I'm spotted with a wavy, messy shoulder length hair and wore grey Carcass t-shirt and badly ripped-off jeans which I must say that, it's already R.I.P now due to its bad state. But I still keep it. And comes Hellfire Club 2006, I made another record again by coming with a shorter layered-hairstyle-gone-wrong, wearing grey Terroriser t-shirt and dark blue old ripped-off jeans and yeah, what the hell? That was really my record after being M.I.A again from my girls.

Yup, Sham (nice dreadlocks) did a great job again and thanks for the great Raspatul badge. Wish I had more of that because it's small and cute hahaha! Distros are a killer too. I've got really no idea what I want to buy and ended up buying something not related to music and a Carcass patch. And yep, luckily my neck doesn't ache that badly. And yeah, I saw Nahar too hee hee! Wuah botak already siak! So I shall stop blabbering nonsense now and let those pictures below do the talking. Enjoy!

My enemy bitter joy
The love doesn't have pity anymore
